Extended User Support provides users with expert assistance on their projects, ranging from a few hours to 70-80 hours over a maximum of 3-4 weeks.

This support is designed to address complex challenges requiring more in-depth attention than standard support can offer.

High-Level Support Team: Your partner in supercomputing success

NRIS is advancing its supercomputing support by introducing the High-Level Support Team (HLST). This new initiative focuses on NRIS actively pursuing Extended User Support (EUS) projects, ensuring users can fully utilise the capabilities of HPC systems through targeted assistance and collaboration.

A New Approach to Support

The HLST identifies projects that can benefit from extended support by monitoring code efficiency using various performance instrumentation software and reviewing support requests submitted to support@nris.no. These efforts aim to enhance user projects through collaboration on code refinement, job script enhancement, and resource optimisation.
