Before our 2nd resource allocation period this year, which commenced on 1 October, we received more than 500 applications from projects needing high-performance computing (HPC) and storage services.

This upgrade is positioned to bring in a whole new level of computing power and exciting possibilities for researchers in various fields.

MAS is our resource administration system, a software solution that supports our applications and resource processes. The system has been in use since 2010, and this project has aimed to enhance the user experience.

The project is in the planning phase, and we are happy to share that soon we will complete the high-level design of the new research archive and the MVP (minimum viable product).
